The 7" long steel blade moves smoothly along edges of concrete forming both curbs and gutters in one pass of the tool. This curb tool creates a 2-1/2" radius on the top edge of concrete slabs preventing the edges from chipping with wear. The face then extends down 6" forming the back of the step. A 1-1/2" batter at 6" creates a slope that promotes proper drainage. The tool then forms a 3" radius curb as the bottom extends out 13-1/2" for proper coverage. The all steel tool provides additional weight for moving through concrete. A ferrule extends out at an angle for a comfortable working position. Purchase the 48" hardwood handle (CC966-02) separately. The curb and gutter formed is a popular dimension in Texas.
